What Is Ab-Initio?
Ab-Initio is a Latin term meaning "from the beginning".It is a powerful ETL tool (hope you are aware of ETL)used in data Warehousing.It's main objective is to process the data for Enterprise.
This software works with client server model.
* Client is called GDE-Graphical development Environment.It resides on user desktop.
* Server is known as Co-operating system.
Parallelism and Integration process is the major part in creating Data Warehouse and Date-mart.Ab-Intio code is called Graph,which has got the extension .mp.
